I can’t possibly be the only person who believed that myth. And because I believed that, I killed my cat when I was 10 years old. It was meowing a lot and I banged it’s head with a trashcan lid until it stopped meowing. I was 9. I thought he was just going to come back later perfectly fine. I didn’t think he’d never wake up.
